Day 16

Hello,

Last night I went out with a group of friends in honor of another friends birthday. We started off at a nice little place called the Whisk and Ladle for some wine and Tapas (IPA: [ˈtaˌpas]) is the name of a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or warm.

I had the butternut squash tortellini, the flat bread, and shrimp. The food was pretty good, but there were some side effects. For one, everybody’s breath was rancid. And because it was so loud, you had to lean in real close to hear what their breath had to say.

One thing that is getting annoying is being asked by the people who know about the bet if I’m doing ok, or if I want to leave or be somewhere different. One thing I don’t mind is being the designated driver. It is rewarding to give my friends a lift back home and know they got there safe. We’ve all been in a situation where everyone around us is having a social drink or two except you. At what point do your friends become annoying?
